About Soraya Taher

Singapore born and raised, Soraya Taher is a BA Honours graduate (2005) of LASALLE-SIA Collecge of the Arts, Singapore. Her work had been selected and featured in the Best of Singapore Art 2004. She has since participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions that have been highly acclaimed.

Nurtured through her study of Graphic Design, she has weaved her skills and her love for creating art to help herself depict her journey with independence as a  person, a mother, a wife and a daughter-in-law, over the last 5 years of being in Bangalore. Through the motifs of floral, intricate and fluid abstractions is a search for her idea of happiness.

Soraya's works are appreciated and collected locally and internationally (Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, Sri Lanka, Singapore) as they adorn the homes and offices of her clients. Despite her rarity of time as a mother of 2, her passion makes her carve out time to produce these works of art. She continues to freelance in design (Logos, Illustration, Advertising, Publications), for companies in India.
